DRY EYES

When your tears are not providing enough lubrication for your eyes. This can lead to inflammation and damage of the eyes surface. Dry eyes may occur in air conditioned spaces, on an airplane, working on a computer, running or riding a bike, and last for several hours.

Dry Eyes
MACULAR DEGENERATION

Common amongst people over the age of 50, causing central vision to become reduced or blurred. Vision impairment can vary from mild to severe, and affect one or both eyes. Early detection and care is key in management and delaying vision loss.

Common Symptoms

  • Blind spots

  • Visual distortions with lines

  • Facial recognition issues

Macular Degeneration
EYE TWITCHES (BLEPHAROSPASM)

Involuntary twitching, blinking or closing of the eyelids, with no apparent cause. In severe cases can cause eyelids to shut for lengthy periods of time.

Common Symptoms

  • Inability to control the eyelids

DIABETES & YOUR EYES

Diabetes can affect the clarity of vision. What with the constant change in sugar levels, fluid retention there can be many issues that arise with the eyes as a result. Most issues with eyes and diabetes are momentary, however in some cases it can lead to ongoing vision impairment, and other serious eye conditions.

FLASHES & FLOATERS
